If you are going to be working with radioactive materials
as part of your research then you must... ATTEND a Radiation
Safety Workshop.

Safety Office (EH&IS)
- This workshop is an introduction to ionizing radiation,
but can include information on lasers and X-rays when appropriate.
- Ionizing Radiation Safety Training: 2 HOURS
- NEXT TRAINING IS: Not been scheduled - check with Sue

- X-ray Safety Training: 1 HOUR
- Laser Safety Training: 30 MINUTES
- Note: Due to the number of people requesting radiation
training, the training is only conducted after a sufficient
number of people have shown an interest. To sign up
for the next training email us with your name, phone #, who
you will be working for and your availability. Please
include a two-hour block of free time in your schedules!
